terms + conditions
1. No Refund Policy | All sales are final. Due to the custom nature of photography and printed products, we do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges once an order has been placed. This includes missed appointments or no-shows for any reason. If a player does not attend the scheduled photo session, they forfeit their photo opportunity and no refund will be issued.
2. Digital File Usage | Purchased digital files are licensed for personal use only by the individual who placed the order. Sharing, copying, distributing, or reselling digital images to other parents, team members, or third parties is strictly prohibited and punishable by law.
3. Copyright & Promotional Use | All photographs are the property of Heather Read Photography and are protected under U.S. copyright law. By purchasing, you are granted a non-transferable, personal-use license to print and display the images within your household. Heather Read Photography retains the right to use any images for portfolio, website, social media, advertising, or other promotional purposes, unless otherwise agreed to in writing.
4. Image Alteration | Clients may not alter, edit, crop, apply filters to, or retouch any images provided. This includes but is not limited to modifications through editing apps or social media platforms. All editing must be done exclusively by Heather Read Photography to maintain the professional integrity of the work.
5. Missed Photo Sessions | If a team or individual fails to show up for their scheduled photo, this is considered outside the control of Heather Read Photography. In such cases, individual player photos will not be taken for that player and they will not be included in the team photo.
6. Delivery Timeline | Orders are processed and delivered within approximately 4-6 weeks from the date of the photo session or order placement, whichever is later.
7. Post Pre-Order, On-Site and Reprint Convenience Fees | Orders placed after the pre-order deadline (9/25/25 or 2/18/26) and/or orders placed on-site at the time of the photo session will incur a 10% convenience fee. Reprints requested after the original order will also incur a 10% convenience fee in addition to applicable shipping costs.
8. Creative Decisions | Heather Read Photography will maintain control of all creative decisions including, but not limited to, direction, composition, editing and artistic style of photographs.
